About Us

My name is Dr Tim Jaeger. I am excited to be part of the passion and purpose of the Cork Spine & Disc Rehabilitation Centre.
Having grown up in the rugged beauty of northern Canada and being surrounded by nature, a natural and healthy lifestyle philosophy came easily to me. Being influenced by my grandparents, who both lived to be 99 years young, I pursued my dream and became a Doctor of Chiropractic, graduating from the prestigious Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1998.

In my pursuit of excellence and my intense focus to be the best doctor I can be for my patients, I went on to become a Certified Kennedy Spinal Decompression Therapist and also completed my advanced nutrition designations as a Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioner (ROHP) and Registered Nutritional Consultant Practitioner (RNCP).  I am a member of the Chiropractic Association of Ireland (CAI) and the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC).

Dr Meckelborg and I are enthusiastic to introduce you to the Total Health Spinal System™, a comprehensive approach to optimal spinal health.

My wife and I enjoy outdoor activities like mountain biking, camping and hiking, as well as travelling. I love learning, reading, and researching.  One of my favorite quotes is by Alvin Toffler, “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.”

Dr-Bodie-2Dr. Bodie R. Dorrance, a native of Sault Ste. Marie, Canada is a recent newcomer to Cork, attracted by the clinic’s outstanding reputation and purpose-driven leadership. His lifelong dream has been to live and work in Europe so an invitation by Dr. Douglas Meckelborg and Dr. Tim Jaeger to be a part of their highly experienced team and join their premier clinic in Cork was eagerly received.

Dr. Dorrance’s influences from chiropractic have spanned his entire lifetime beginning as a toddler suffering from severe back and hip pain and barely being able to stand. His mother’s friend suggested chiropractic adjustments, which corrected the true underlying cause of the problem and cured the condition easily despite months of unsuccessful traditional medical care. These early events ignited his passion for natural healing and lead to years of volunteer work in chiropractic followed by matriculation at Queen’s University of Canada and Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota.

During his university career he enjoyed varsity sports playing football and track for the Queen’s Golden Gaels. One of his proudest accomplishments was being awarded a Canadian Youth Medal for spearheading fundraising for Ethiopian famine relief.

Upon graduation he began clinical chiropractic practice in North Carolina with a strong focus on personal injury, rehabilitation and family practice. While maintaining his own busy practice he assisted dozens of young aspiring chiropractors acting as mentor and coach while they transitioned from school. He has been licensed as a Doctor of Chiropractic in Canada, the United States and Germany and is now a proud member of the Chiropractic Association of Ireland. Dr. Bodie has immersed himself over the years in ongoing post-graduate study of corrective and structural chiropractic rehabilitation as well as pediatric and family care.

Dr. Dorrance is an avid sports fan, has run in numerous road races including marathons, and holds a black belt in tae-kwon-do. Furthermore, he has been studying languages for years and is proficient in French and German and looking forward to learning Gaelic! Along with his wife and daughter, they are all excited to make Cork their new home for many years to come.
